A common thing among many musicians is that they can play bits and pieces of a lot of songs, but the ability to play them from beginning to end is often lacking. So, what I very much like about my piano student Sebastian, 14 years old, is that he always works on a song until he has it ‘performance-ready’. He makes it look very easy too. It often leads to recording it together, which is simply a lot of fun. It adds to a sense of achievement for him and major fulfillment for me as his teacher. Win-win! All in all, this is Sebastian performing the beautiful ballad Angels by Robbie Williams.
